This extends beyond your visit with us, as we will follow-up with you to ensure you are satisfied with us and your dental work.
We maintain great credentials for a dental practice and we all continue to better ourselves and the quality of dentistry we provide by attending continuing education courses.
All of our staff have completed continuing education courses in infection control and sterilization. We all wear gloves, masks and eyewear and our practice surpasses OSHA regulations for a dental office.
We are a patient-oriented practice and we all are dedicated to making your visits as safe and as pleasant as possible.

Dr. JERRY GARDNER DDS

was born in Walterboro, SC in 1956. He graduated second in his class at Walterboro High School in 1973. His undergraduate studies were at Tulane University and graduated with a Major in Biology with Honors in 1978. During this time he spent his Junior semester in London and studied at the City of London Polytechnic and for foreign studies at the Institute of Guatemala and America (IGA) during his freshman summer. He graduated from the Dental School at Emory University in 1983.
        After passing the boards in Florida and Georgia, he set-up his practice in Atlanta. In 1986, he bought Dr. William Stone's practice located in the Doctor's Building at Crawford Long Hospital until he moved the office June 2000.. He is now relocated in the heart of Buckhead on 2960 Hardman Court off Pharr Road. In April 2002 to 2003, Dr. Gardner completed his courses on ADVANCED OCCLUSAL PROBLEM SOLVING in St. Pete, Fla. at the DAWSON CENTER , taught by DR. PETE DAWSON, himself. In the summer of 2004, Dr. Gardner completed his course in forensic dentistry to become a LEVEL 4 CERTIFIED MEDICAL INVESTIGATOR THROUGH THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF FORENSIC EXAMINERS. In 2005, TBS approached Dr. Gardner to be the dental expert for MOVIE AND A MAKEOVER, which aired nationally September 17th, 2005. In 2007, Dr. Gardner just completed an extensive course at DEN-MAT in Santa Maria, CA for advanced placement of LUMINEERS. In 2010 he became a Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Dentistry and a Contributor writer on WebMD. He also is a Member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
             His hobbies range from swimming, sailing, art, traveling, music, weight lifting, and free -dive snorkling. His art has been exhibited in Mykonos, Greece and Atlanta and he even has competed in several sanctioned body building shows. He currently learning to speak Greek.
        Each year, Dr. Gardner donates to worthy causes from the American Cancer Society, Project Open Hand, and various other organizations dealing with HIV.He is a Honorary Member of the Georgia Special Olympics.   He enjoys people and enjoys his career which has afforded him the opportunity to meet wonderful people and help enrich his life.

TUNDE M. ANDAY
HYGIENIST
    Tunde M. Anday was born in Wurzburg, Germany . Her lineage is Hungarian and Estonian, therefore her unusual name. Her family immigrated to the US in the early '50's and settled in the tri-state area of the Northeast, where she received her undergraduate and college education. Her degree in Dental Hygiene was from Montgomery Community College in Blue Bell, Pa. She received advanced training in periodontal therapy at the University of Pennsylvania and practiced in that state until 1984, when she moved to Georgia.
    Tunde has practiced dental hygiene in Georgia on a full time basis and been active in her profession on a national and local level. In 1988, Governor Zell Miller appointed her to serve as the dental hygiene member of the Georgia Board of Dentistry. She served until her commission expired and was reappointed to serve another term on the Board by Governor Roy Barnes. Her second commission expired June 2006. She is also an examiner for the Southern Regional Testing Agency and an examiner for the Central Regional Testng Agency. As an examiner, she travels throughout the southeastern and central states to test dental hygiene applicants for state licensing. She is also a member of the American Association of Dental Examiners and works with the dental hygiene caucus to constantly review and improve standards of testing for dental hygiene on the national level, GDHA, ADHA, AND AADE.
          Tunde has one grown son, Edward residing in NJ and one grandson, Roman. Her sister, Endla Anday, MD, PHD is a professor of neonatalogy in Philadelphia, with two children. Tunde has one niece currently in medical school named Jennifer and one nephew named Jamie who in in business in Philadelphia.
        With what spare time she has, Tunde still finds time to share her life with her two Great Pyrenees and two spoiledcats. Presently, she is renovating her home in metro Atlanta, a task she says will never end.
         We are proud to have Tunde on our team. She has worked very hard to have the skills, knowledge, and dedication to her field. She also has worked hard to make our practice excel in soft-tissue management and make the patient a number one priority. And we are proud of her support of the office for over 10 years.

    Cosetta Hayes is our Dental Assistant for Hygiene. She keeps Tunde in line!!(Or at least tries). She is a native of Georgia and truly a peach. She was in employed at Emory Dental School in the early 80's where she taught Dr. Gardner how to take x-rays. Now the tide has turned, since Dr. G is so proficient in x-ray technique, she created a monster.
       Cosetta is the coordinator of the hygiene department and facilitates Tunde with patient education and oral hygiene instructions. Once you meet her, you will be truly motivated by her disposition and gentleness of her caring touch and true concern for the patient.
       She is the proud mother of Coleman IVand Brittainy and the wife of her beloved husband Coleman. Coleman IV is in his first year of college while Brittainy maintains the home front and high school with the "13 going on 30" syndrome!! Our hat is off to Mom!

MICHI BUTTS
DENTAL ASSISTANT

Michi Butts is our Dental Assitant for Dr. Gardner. She has been an assistant for 8 years, 5 years with our practice. She attended Gwinett Tech in Lawrenceville, Ga.The main reason she became a dental assistant is her love for the people. She always tells them, "I know no one likes coming to the dentist...that's why we're going to do our best and make you feel at home." Michi's nickname is "Speedy Gonzales" because she is hard at work as soon as she hits the door at 7:30 am and doesn't let up until 4:30 pm. She does her best in keeping "Dr. GAAAARDNAAAAR" focused, organized, and on time for each patient. She has learned the fast pace and still shows her patients the love at the same time. One thing she has learned is each and every patient is unique and different. If you take the time to listen to them, they will enjoy the dental experience alot better. When she interviewed, her only question was how the patients were treated. We thought, with appropriate training, most positions can be mastered. The one thing which cannot be taught is a sincere love for others...and this is what Michi has brought to the office.
