We feel your appointment begins when you first call us for your first office visit. It is important your first impression of us is one of integrity, care, and concern. We want to spend some time with you with this phone conversation to understand your dental needs and find out a little about you, so when you do come in, we are organized to serve you at a higher level of care. Thus, during this phone conversation we will ask about your dental history, your reasons for the appointment and any medical situations such as allergies or heart murmur, which allows us to give you the extra TLC at your appointment. If you do have insurance, we will need your group number, telephone number of the insurance company, and any information to confirm your insurance and understand the plan. You will be responsible for the first dental appointment. We will be more than happy to assist you in filing for your reimbursement from your insurance company.

You may elect to recieve a welcome packet via the mail which includes the necessary forms to complete or right click on the form you need printed and click the print icon.. Just remember to bring in the completed forms so there will be no delay at your first appointment. The forms include medical history, insurance information, consent forms and general information. These forms are seen at the bottom of the page.

At your first appointment, expect updated radiographs and a comprehensive exam, which includes a cancer screening, review of the completed forms, periodontal probing and diagnosis for your gum and supporting tissue condition, a question and answer session, and a treatment plan for your particular needs. We encourage as much feedback and interaction as possible to help in the success of your dental treatment. It is our intent to educate and be able to show and tell you what your dental needs may be, so you can understand why you need the treatment. At the end of the appointment, we will ask your consent and decide how to approach your future work.

Please note, we do not "clean" teeth on the first appointment. Because we do not know the condition of your gums, we do not know how to schedule the appointment. If you do have "gum disease," we simply cannot do a "regular cleaning." We incorporate a soft tissue management program to fully treat your gums and to educate you on the importance of proper maintenance for your teeth and gums. We consider our hygenist as a periodontal co-therapist, since she is a cut-above the "norm" in the field.

In summary, we want to always exceed your expectations of our office from the first telephone call to each visit with us. We hope we succeed in our goal and ask you, always, to give us feedback so we can continue to grow.

We are proud to have 100% of our referrals from our family of patients and we look forward to continuing this goal by depending on the kindness and the communication from new patients who come into our practice and appreciate the service rendered to them. We do enjoy our roles in the dental field.
Quality time is allowed in our schedule for each individual patient. Thus, your appointed time will be reserved especially for you. We ask you to please allow for Atlanta traffic and be here 5 minutes early AND make sure your forms are completed!! This will delay you being promptly seated and our starting on time. Remember! This is your reserved time and we want to provide you with the best service possible.

So that we may be fully informed of the status of your overall health, please thoroughly complete the required medical/dental questionnaire. Should you require assistance in the completion of this information, simply call our office in advance and we will be happy to help you
